This work, for which there is no evidence allowing a precise date, was assigned by Lehr, Sievers and Klipstein to 1892. As with most prints created before "A Weavers' Revolt" - and undoubtedly also because of its scratches - for a long time the artist did not consider selling proofs of this print. This is confirmed, too, by Sievers' remark that old proofs were rare.
